Box-it offers Document Management with Safe Returns

Warwickshire based chartered accountants and business advisers Burgis & Bullock has been a client of Box-it Central for 12 years.  The practice, with offices in Leamington Spa, Rugby and Nuneaton, use both the document storage and secure document destruction services offered by Box-it Central.

“We find the services offered by Box-it Central extremely beneficial to the filing efficiencies of our business,” says Richard Beddow, Client Services Partner – Burgis & Bullock, Leamington Spa.  “By outsourcing document storage, we free up valuable office space in the knowledge that our archive files in storage with Box-it are secure, fully-tracked and can be swiftly recalled at short notice.”

“Our Nuneaton office also uses the confidential document shredding service offered by Box-it which has proved to be a very satisfactory way of securely destroying files and office paper waste that is no longer required. It’s good to know that our paper waste is being recycled too,” says Richard.

Shredding sacks, with bar codes and secure zip ties for full traceability, are simply delivered to Nuneaton as and when required.  When the sacks are full, Box-it personnel collect them on request and return to their in-house secure shredding facility near Leamington Spa.  The shredding operates under video surveillance making it suitable for confidential documentation.   It is then baled ready to be recycled into new paper based products.

Burgis & Bullock also get to regularly review the status of its stored documents and can issue written requests for the destruction of obsolete files.  Certificates of Destruction are issued on completion.

Warwick based QualitySolicitors Moore & Tibbits is just one of the many businesses in this area to benefit from the document storage and retrieval service provided by Box-it Central of Bishops Tachbrook.

Box-it Central, offering both paper-based and electronic document management and storage solutions including confidential shredding, has been providing secure storage for Moore & Tibbits for the last 10 years.

Box-it Central Makes Transportation Easy with New Cargo Bodies

Box-it Central has recently invested in some impressive new CT bodies, all sporting the distinctive Box-it livery enabling the Midlands based business to carry out a wide range of haulage work for other branches of the Box-it group located throughout the UK.

This versatile new service is already proving to be very popular with other Box-it branches and end-user customers which would not otherwise have access to such high capacity transportation.  Transporting larger volumes of cargo in one journey can be more cost-effective and environmentally-friendly too.

“Our new ‘drop body’ system has great scope and flexibility,” says Les Evans, Partner – Box-it Central.  “With fourteen Box-it branches across the country, we are able to transport boxes, confidential shredding and when required, we can also leave the bodies for our customers to fill in their own time.”

The Box-it Central team are no strangers to transportation given the sister business, Britannia Squab Group, is an award-winning removals and storage business.  For further information, please call Box-it Central on 01926 332244.

Box-it Central helping the homeless and needy

Box-it Central has raised over £2000 for Leamington Christian Mission, a local charity helping homeless and needy individuals in its home town of Leamington Spa following its successful Christmas Box-it Appeal.

The Christmas Box-it Appeal launched for the first time in November, involved companies and individuals sponsoring a Box-it box for £15. Box-it personnel used the donations to buy and pack boxes with essential items including food, clothing and sleeping bags.

These boxes brimming with goods were personally delivered just before Christmas by Box-it Central personnel who distributed them to some very appreciative recipients at the famous Leamington Soup Kitchen run by Steph and Geoff Devlin. Together with their team of volunteers, Steph and Geoff have worked tirelessly for this cause for the last 20 years.

A cheque was also presented to Leamington Christian Mission for £1327 to assist their efforts during the winter months.

"It's so easy to take our every day comforts for granted and forget how difficult some people's lives really are. Leamington Christian Mission is Box-it Central's nominated local charity and we would like to thank everyone who supported our Appeal. We have been quite overwhelmed and will continue this initiative throughout 2011, along with our nationally nominated charity Help for Heroes," says Les Evans, Partner, Box-it Central.
